For UI. We think just one side switch. With firefly low med and maxout. Temp control. It spend us more than 12 month to make the driver. We choose military grade IC .we think the a perfect driver like heart of the people.

Hope that you don't offer cool white only. Although in the far east cool white is very popular, more and more people here do favor warmer tints like 4-5000K.

AW: The brightest 1AA flashlight(not 14500 operated)

Hi David,

More and more people are spending money for modding their lights to nw. So in the meanwhile I think it is absolutely crucial to offer nw as well...

Look at ET, they are pretty unique with their nw range (even Nichias are available) and as there is no strong competition in this range I assume their nw sales volumes are remarkable (otherwise they would not keep it up).

So please go for nw or even for a small run of high CRI

I just can agree !
I´d rather would like a 300 Lumen NW then 350CW (of coursce ANSI :D)
Sideswitch sounds great too.
Are there any plans for a low voltage warning (~0,9V)?

Looking foreward to get more Informations - so far a very nice project
hej do Werner

Although I don't like sideswitches very much I can deal with it - as long as the LED is a NW one ... !

As for the switch, IMVHO it has to work absolutely precisely, without any delay and must be operable without any restriction of any kind with winter glowes as well.

Joachim.

Sideswitch is good, if the UI is good, like Zebralight.

Temperature control is perfect.

I hope there will be a NW option, 4000-5000K.

"Military grade IC" - you mean +125°C temperature limit instead of usual +85°C?

Just found this Nitecore MH1A. They state 550 Ansi lumen with a single 14500 cell on their homepage. Didn't find independent test report confirming this output, but even if this only for sbort burst time, WOW!!!

Well...they use LiIon. Thrunite claims 350lm with NiMH. That is somewhat different!

the only thing we are worry is input current is tremendous.for UI. We think simple is preferable.
