This 1×AA with extender or a new flashlight?

Ways to change the flashlights are great.
More, new, flashlights,too ;)

Like Olight S15: normally 1x AA, and with extension tube 2 or 3 AA.

Indeed. Small but ill-regulated with one cell. Large, bright and well-regulated with two cells......

Thislight would have to be really bright, and well-regulated, even one one cell. With extender and thus two cells should only result in prolongued runtime.

Cheers

Maybe you can make it look more exactly like Olight S15, its esthetic design was well-received on the flashlight market!!

I agree, the regulation should do constant brightness at max lumens, thermal step-down would be nice.

If it does not beat SC52 brightness, then why would i want to buy :D

Is there any updated status of the present development? Size, output levels, UI .... Any news will do!

- Akku-Warnung

- Lieferung mit Verlängerung für 2x AA

- Baugröße etwas kleiner als der Prototyp

- wahrscheinlich verschiedene Lichtfarben

- Erscheinungsdatum noch in diesem Sommer

- Preis: sehr fair

Sounds very impressive to me. Looks as if this will make it to my buying list as soon as it is available. Timeline for release would be great truenite.

FWIW: this thread was started in English.

Is there any news about TB1AAFLN14500 - The brightest 1AA flashlight (not 14500 operated)?

Thrunite would release a limited TLF-Edition for us with a special discount. We review the flashlights (prototypes) this week and check out if our members are interested. Later there will be a standard version for the market too but without a discount (= at a higher price). Those who want one have to keep an eye on this thread. Only limited quantity available.

Has group buy pre-order started?

Can someone please pm me the coupon code and the price?

I would be interested if the GB price is right

+1. And dimensions.
The last information we got on this wasn't very exciting: basically an AA flashlight with the dimensions of a compact 18650 light.
amaretto told us it would be "etwas kleiner als der Prototyp", I'm eager to know how much smaller. Any preliminary info?

I definitely need a new flashlight, days are becoming noteably shorter already :D
The candidates are TB1AAFLN14500 and SC62w.
Which brings me to the next point: neutral white?

- Maße: Kopf 25 mm/ Body 20 mm/ Tailcap 22 mm/ Länge 95 (mit Extender 146) mm
Zebralight SC62: head 24.4mm, length 96.5mm, dunno body and tailcap diameter, but the difference is insignificant. Plus triple battery capacity, 1000lm vs. 700lm, and also thermal regulation.

Seems like the TB1AAFLN14500 is only for AA NiMH users.
But I have plenty of 18650s, so no need for an AA- or 14500-powered flashlight of 18650-size. I'm out. The SC62w will light my path through the winter (if it materializes in time ).
