Die Riesenverpackung inkl. der merkwürdigen (weil in keinster Weise zum Produkt passend) Transporttasche war lediglich für die Tester/Reviewer und wird es beim Endprodukt glücklicherweise nicht geben.

Ninja wenn aber die Exemplare für die Reviewer irgendwie doch so merkwürdige Packungen enthalten (Zumindest hatte ja Lampe und dieses Diffusorgehäuse im Schaumstoff passende plätze) läuft auch was falsch. Wenn ich Produkte an Reviewer weiterreichen würde wäre es beim Fehlen der korrekten Verpackung die Lampe, mit dem zur Verfügung stehenden Zubehör, und sonst nichts, dazu noch der Hinweis, das die Verpackung noch kommt, und daher nicht Teil eines Reviews sein darf!

Ein bissel traurig bin ich aber, ich hab ja nun auf den 40 Fuß Seecontainer gewartet...

Ohne den 40Fuß Seekontainer ist die Lampe aber dann doch etwas überteuert.
Da muß man sich das aber echt zweimal überlegen.
Wohl doch nur was für echte Flashaholics und Sammler.

Da könnte man sich natürlich auch fragen ob man die Reviewer sich so nicht "wohlgesonnen" machen wollte

Wie es bei der X2 eben auch war. Die kam ja auch in schnöden Kartons zu den Reviewern.

Also,..Akkutausch ist ja da schonmal kein Problem.
Zumindest an der X3.

As seen on kickstarter Update #1 dated May 11th, there's the announcement of an magnetic charging base and you can clearly see pins on the pictures.

So the flashlight itself has to have pins where the magnets are..

And if you include the possibility to be charged by that, why does that charging case not have those contacts and instead that inefficient wireless charging thing...

Yes, it's an early prototype.

It uses the wireless charging receiver to charge the battery.

Im ersten Update auf Kickstarter teilt Wuben mit, dass jede X3 auch mit einer Ladeschale kommt und man zu dem X3 Kit (also inkl. der Charging-Box) auch eine zusätzliche X3 ohne die Charging-Box dazu erwerben kann.

Ich bin mir jetzt gar nicht mehr so sicher wie das von Wuben gemeint ist. Ob es die Ladeschale grundsätzlich bei allen oder aber nur bei den zusätzlich erwerbbaren X3 ohne charging Box dazu gibt.

Also ich hab das eher so verstanden das es die Ladeschale zu den extra erwerbbaren dazu gibt.
Aber mag auch komplett anders sein.

I understood it to mean: the X3 comes with a charging case, but you can also buy additional X3 flashlights without extra charging cases.

E.g. Wuben X3 + charging case + Wuben X3. Two fashlights and one charging case.

They're considering offering the option of the X3 flashlight without a charging case and instead with an optional wireless charging pad.

As written before, i can't imagine how the flashlight could be wirelessly charged with that pictured "charging station".

It uses the wireless charging receiver to charge the battery.

How? The receiver coil is clearly on one of the sides of the flashlight. The charging base you can see does not have anything that would come even close to the receiver coil.

Based on the given pictures it is just physically impossible the flashlight could be wirelessly charged.

The only explanation i have is that the X3 is slightly modified to what we saw so far.
