Dear Taschenlampen-forum members,

It's with great pleasure that we announce the opening of the first Europe-based Supbeam specialised retail point, where all Supbeam lights will be available for ordering and/or purchase.

Supbeam is a manufacturer of high quality, high performance flashlights.
The range goes from 120 lumens keychain (AA-powered) flashlights up to 3480 lumens compact flood lights.

Our main website is still undergoing pre-launch reviews and touch-ups but our online sales website is already online and products are available for purchase. Please visit Supbeam Store France & Benelux

Any questions are welcome, we also speak German to a basic level.
We provide support and warranty services. All lights are dispatched out of Belgium, a neighboring country.

Although our prices are quite interesting, Taschenlampen-forum.de forum members get a 10% discount using the coupon code "opening10", valid until 20th of August.

Best regards,

Vito Carta

Good to know.

Just a few annotations:

There are several languages mixed within texts (Englisch, French, Dutch etc.).

And it's not clear what sort of lumen you write of. I assume it's LED lumen rather than ANSI lumen, right?

Welcome to the TLF! You have some interesting torches there, especially the X40 has a special quality. A lot of lumens for a very good price, indeed!!

May I suggest that you seriously consider to develop a compact flooder with 3 Cree MT-G2 LEDs? For about the same price as the X40, at the best? I can imagine that many flashlight enthusiasts would fall for that - including me! :D

Hope the hear from you regarding that!!

Thank you very much. I will be looking forward to sharing information with this board.
Your suggestion will be passed on to the relevant people, I appreciate it.

Thank you very much. We have conducted a review of the webstore and we did indeed find some bugs. Most of them have been resolved in the meanwhile.
The lumens are measured max. ANSI/OTF using calibrated equipment, not the LED ratings.

However, as with any led flashlights, keep in mind that the X40 will not hold the max. 3480 lumens for the full 2 hours of endurance on turbo. The current will drop significantly in the first minutes of use towards a stable plateau at around 75% of max. output (I don't have the exact figures handy). After that the drop is more gradual and the steepness will solely depend on how your 18650's perform.
On the bottom cover, next to the charging port, you have a small led which will turns from green to orange and red as the battery becomes depleted.

I recommend our Supbeam 18650 batteries vividly. They are nicely packaged in accordance to EU requirements, and professionally labelled with Supbeam logo's. That changes from the usual cheap looking ugly black label with the silver sticker on it. The pictures will be updated on our website very soon, so you can see for yourself.
Most importantly, they are original batteries from Samsung (2600mAh) and Panasonic (3400mAh). Please beware of Hong Kong based setups who will sell you ultrafire 1000mAh 18650's as a protected Panasonic NCR18650B and ship it to you "for free" at prices that are below wholesale prices for 500 units. They will often mention the wrong nominal voltage, which is a good indication that they themselves don't know or care what they are selling to you.
I think that our battery prices are also reasonable, they come with a 1 year warranty and especially interesting when ordered in full kits with the lights.

Thats nice.
I ordered the 3480 lumens one.

Thank you for your order. Your feedback will be highly appreciated.

Thank you for pointing us out to the typo about the 72.000Cd on the K40.
We have fixed it in the meanwhile.

Markus
