They write 550 lm out of one AA, but I also think it's 550 lm for 14500s... They also have Version 2 of the Partner A1, rated at 300 lm with XP-G2. Version 1 had a XP-G, rated at 230 lm, but Selfbuilt measured 300 lm as I wrote before.

300 lm fuer 45 minuten bei einer kleinen 1AA Lampe? Das waere zu schoen um wahr zu sein. Aber ich glaube nicht, dass das geht. Vorher geht die Lampe in Flammen auf
Und das sind LED-Lumen, da gehen noch ein paar % flöten...

IMO "high" mode is too high. There's no perceptible difference to turbo and the runtime isn't considerably longer.
If turbo is 300-450lm, I prefer 100-150lm for high.

Although I already own a T10s, this proposal sounds like a good idea to me.
But, as I said before, what I am really eager to see would be something like the Lumapower D-Mini powered by AA/14500 (so much about "bigger head").

Even better: make it work with UNPROTECTED Li-Ion, i.e. low voltage shutdown at 2.7V.
